Installation Guidelines
- Install the tank on a flat, level surface with a strong and stable foundation.
- Use SS 304 pipe fittings and other non-toxic, non-corrosive materials such as PPR, or PVC for water outlets and discharge points.
- Place a stop-cock at the outlet end to allow emergency shutoff if needed.
- Do not alter or add outlet connections after delivery.
- Fill the tank halfway and flush it out before using.
- Bolt the tank securely if placed on a raised metal stand.
- Keep the air vent open at all times to allow proper airflow.
- Securely fit and properly align all pipes connected to the tank openings.
- Inspect all connections and fittings regularly for leaks or wear to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Install a discharge pipe and valve to remove sediment or dirty water, and discharge regularly.
- Install the tank away from chemical substances or hazardous liquids.
- Support all connected pipes adequately to prevent stress or damage.
- Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the tank to prevent structural strain or damage.
- Use a non-return valve when using a submersible pump to fill the tank.
Cleaning Guidelines
- Clean the tank using only mild detergents.
- Clean the outside of the tank every 6 months and the inside every month.
- Avoid using steel or abrasive scrubbers to clean the tank surface.
